For nearly four years, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan have been wrenching on and destroying various Hot Rod project cars on Roadkill. On this latest episode, the duo take several of their project cars on a road trip from Detroit to Fort Worth, Tex., racing them along the way.
After doing a burnout with the Hellcat-powered Dodge Chargers, General Mayhem and General Maintenance, the guys drive the 2015 Charger Hellcat from Detroit to Bowling Green, Ky., because they broke the 1968 Charger at the Woodward Dream Cruise the day before. Not long into their trip, the 2015 Charger aka General Maintenance throws a check engine light due to previous abuse.
Once they get to Kentucky, they stop at Beech Bend Raceway Park for a rematch against the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and the blown Hemi-powered 1955 Chevrolet known as Blasphemi.
The next stops include Hallet Motor Racing Circuit and Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, Okla. The Vette Kart and General Maintenance put in some laps at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit, while Blasphemi and General Mayhem head to the drag strip at Tulsa Raceway Park. After having issues with Hemi-powered drag cars, the guys pull out the Chevy-powered Vette Kart and the Draguar sedan.
Along the way, Freiburger and Finnegan and their fans stop for tours at Holley Performance, Comp Cams, the Hajek Motorsports Museum, Painless Performance, and finally Coyote Drive-In to watch several episodes of Roadkill on the big screen.
