In the latest episode of “The Racing Line,” pro driver Randy Pobst returns to show us more fundamentals of racing. This week, it’s all about the skidpad and pushing your car to the limits.

The skidpad may be a great place to gather data on cars, but it also presents the perfect opportunity to test your own racing skills in a controlled environment. Randy hits the skidpad in style, showing us tricks to induce understeer and oversteer. He then demonstrates the effects of overinflated tires on a car’s handling, and just exactly what steady state cornering means.
