cars news 10: 2017 Chrysler 300S Gains Sport Appearance Packages

The blacked-out 2017 Chrysler 300S will now be offered with new sport appearance packages that give the model a more aggressive and athletic look. Both interior and exterior sport appearance packages make their debut at the 2016 New York auto show.

The Exterior Sport Appearance Package will come standard on the V-8 model, and is available on V-6 models. It will feature a new front fascia, unique LED fog lamps, along with sculpted side sills and a decklid spoiler. The foglamps will be available exclusively for the sport appearance package, and will feature a strip of eight horizontal LEDs. The 2017 300S equipped with the exterior sport appearance package will ride on 20-inch wheels, while AWD models will feature 19-inch wheels.

Inside, the Interior Sport Appearance Package adds perforated leather performance seats with suede bolsters and new interior accents and materials. The new seats will offer more support for passengers during spirited driving and also come heated and ventilated. The 2017 Chrysler 300S with this package will feature Piano Black interior trim on the instrument panel, doors, and instrument cluster bezels, with Light Gray Diesel accent stitching on the door and center console armrests, steering wheel, sport seats, and instrument panel brow rounding out the look.

The sport appearance packages for the 2017 Chrysler 300S will be available at dealers nationwide this August.
