The holidays are here and Ford Europe has released its fourth installment of Snowkhana, complete with the stop-motion action we’ve come to appreciate. This year, things at the North Pole become a little more realistic.
The first installment got us hooked on the stop-motion videos featuring festive themes and diecast version of the 2012 Ford Fiesta ST WRC car. A Star Wars cameo and a car chase later, and we couldn’t wait for the next one. The second installment again featured the Fiesta ST WRC car, this time drifting its way through an obstacle course and doing an Evel Knievel-style jump over an array of toys.
But the third installment was perhaps the best. The team at Ford Europe parodied the best videos from 2014, including a rip on BMW’s driftmob video, a Ninja Turtles cameo from Raphael, and more awesome drifting from the Fiesta. However, the fourth video seems to have lost some of that ridiculous humor found in the first three videos.
It opens up with the familiar stop-motion, with the Fiesta and Santa sitting around, with some expected cameos, but this year, things take a different turn. Instead of keeping with the stop-motion, the team decides to recreate some of the scenes from previous Snowkhana videos with a real-life Focus RS. Throw in some stop-motion scenes from last year’s video, and you have Snowkhana 4.
Watch the video below. Does it live up to past Snowkhana videos? Let us know in the comments below.
