You’ve just purchased a new Chevrolet. You want to take it to the track to push it to its limits, but track days can be expensive. What do you do? Now, Chevrolet will deliver your new car to Daytona International Speedway so you can drive it on the track.
This option will be implemented later this year, and will be available on select new vehicle orders. Details are still being worked out, but if you fork out the cash for this option, you’ll get a tour of the speedway, drive on the track, receive a commemorative keepsake, and authentication that your car was delivered and driven on Daytona International Speedway.
Corvette customers already have the option to have their vehicles delivered to the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky, which also gives customers some of the same perks as the new delivery option at Daytona, minus the track experience.
“The Chevrolet Delivery Center is the type of elevated experience that guests visiting Daytona International Speedway come to expect,” said Joie Chitwood III, Daytona International Speedway president, in a release. “This new offering complements the enhancements already may to the ‘World Center of Racing’ through the $400 million DAYTONA Rising development project. We’re looking forward to witnessing that first delivery later this year.”
Pricing, vehicles, and start date will be announced as the details for the new delivery option are finalized.
