Rare 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition Up for Auction in Palm Beach

Fancy yourself a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition? Be sure to head down to the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auctions in Florida on April 8-10, as the auction house will have two of the uniquely painted supercars on offer.

The 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition paid homage to the legendary nameplate’s racing heritage with blue-and-orange Gulf livery and BBS wheels, and was limited to just 343 units. One of the cars up for auction in Palm Beach hasn’t even been used. Its odometer reads just 5 miles, and the car’s interior is still covered in protective shrink-wrapping used for shipping. It still has all the original shipping stickers and documentation, as well as, of course, the factory supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 engine. No price estimate is available.

For buyers who care less about like-new condition, Barrett-Jackson is also offering a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition with 3,000 miles on the clock. Though otherwise identical to the aforementioned car, this is a Canadian-specification GT; it comes with window stickers and other documents in both English and French. No price estimate is given, though Hagerty estimates the value of a 2006 Ford GT Heritage at around $250,000-$500,000, depending on condition.

Other supercars slated for the Palm Beach auctions include a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with 2,800 miles and a 2004 model with 4,252 miles, plus a 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren that has covered only 7,200 miles since new.

Stay tuned to find out how much these rare rides sell for later this month.
