Nissan announced pricing for the half-ton 2017 Titan Crew Cab today. Prices start at $35,975 and go up to $56,595 for the range-topping Platinum Reserve 4×4. In addition, the Japanese automaker announced a new 5-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty for both the half-ton Titan and Titan XD.
The 2017 Nissan Titan S Crew Cab half-ton 4×2 is priced $1,510 less than the gasoline V-8-powered XD’s starting price of $37,485. Both trucks come equipped with Nissan’s 5.6-liter Endurance V-8 engine that makes 390 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque and comes mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. For comparison, a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT crew cab equipped with the 5.0-liter V-8 costs $40,245 and a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab WT with the 5.3-liter V-8 costs $38,035. The Titan Crew Cab SV 4×2 starts at $38,865, while the SL 4×2 starts at $47,575. The Platinum Reserve 4×2 starts at $53,505. Adding four-wheel drive costs an additional $3,030 on the S and SV, $3,080 on the SL, and $3,090 on the Platinum Reserve. The off-road-focused Titan Crew Cab Pro-4X model starts at $46,215.
Separately, Nissan announced what it’s calling “America’s Best Truck Warranty” for the 2017 Titan and Titan XD. The move follows the automaker’s introduction of “America’s Best Commercial Van Warranty” in 2014. Both programs cover 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty includes both basic and powertrain coverage.
Pricing has not yet been announced for the Titan Single Cab, and a King Cab model and V-6 engine are still forthcoming. The 2017 Titan Crew Cab and XD are set to arrive at dealerships nationwide later this month. The single-cab half-ton and XD models arrive in late fall.
