You may know Faraday Future from its FFZero1 concept, or simply by the fact that it’s the latest EV startup to come out of California. But now we may have some concrete clues about the young automaker’s first production vehicle.
Everette Taylor, vice president of on-demand car rental company Skurt, released a picture of a prototype vehicle on Twitter yesterday. A report from Eletrek insists this vehicle is indeed a Faraday Future prototype.

That’s not surprising, given the picture shows what appears to be a crossover. Earlier renderings hinted that the automaker would build a high-riding sedan, or coupe-like SUV similar to the BMW X6 or Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. If Faraday future based this prototype on the renderings, it’s certainly toned down from the original. Still, you can see a few similarities in this Faraday Future crossover, including a back end that is creased in a similar way.
Faraday Future has done quite a bit in a short amount of time. Along with debuting a concept car, it announced a $1 billion EV factory in Las Vegas. It has also paired up with Dragon Racing to compete in the third season of the Formula E championship.
