The 2017 Buick Cascada will offer a new Sport Touring trim when it arrives at dealerships this fall.
You may have seen the Cascada advertised in a Deep Sky Metallic paint job, but the Sport Touring trim brings another shade of blue to the lineup. True Blue Metallic, a slightly brighter blue, will be available only on Sport Touring models. A black cloth top and five-spoke, 20-inch wheels finish off the exterior look. Inside, a (kind of) flat-bottom sport steering wheel and sport pedals complement black trim components.
Prices for the 2017 Buick Cascada Sport Touring will start at $37,885. Buick hasn’t announced full pricing for the 2017 Cascada lineup, but that price tag is above that of the base 2016 model, which goes for $33,990, and the Premium model, which starts at $36,990. It stands to reason the Sport Touring should come fully loaded with features.
The Sport Touring will share the same 200-hp 1.6-liter inline-four engine with the rest of the Cascada lineup. When we tested the Cascada in April, it hit 60 mph from a standstill in a somewhat-slow 8.9 seconds.
The Buick Cascada debuted for the 2016 model year and is based on the car of the same name sold by the Opel brand in Europe. When it debuted, it became the first Buick convertible offered in the U.S. in 25 years.
