2017 Fiat 124 Spider Configurator Now Live

You can now configure the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider on the automaker’s consumer site and create your very own (virtual) Italian roadster. The only engine available is a 1.4-liter turbo-four, but there are many other options on the Classica, Lusso, and range-topping Elaborazione Abarth trims.

Starting at $25,990 including destination, the base 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Classica trim comes standard with manual cloth seats, LED taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and halogen headlights. The only option available is the Technology Collection, which adds a seven-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, and keyless entry/start. The Lusso trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, and keyless entry/start as standard. For $1,495, you can add the Safety and Comfort Collection, which adds blind spot warning, auto-dimming exterior and rearview mirrors, rear parking sensors, a security alarm, and a universal garage door opener. The Premium Collection builds on the Safety and Comfort Collection by adding a nine-speaker Bose audio system, adaptive LED headlights, rear cross-traffic alert, navigation, and rear cross-traffic alert

Finally, the Elaborazione Abarth comes with a host of go-fast goodies such as a mechanical limited-slip differential and Bilstein shocks as standard. Available options include the Safety and Comfort Collection, plus the Luxury Collection that builds on the Lusso grade’s Premium Collection by adding leather/microfiber sport seats. Standalone options for the Elaborazione Abarth include Brembo brakes with red calipers and Recaro sport seats. A six-speed automatic transmission is available on all trim levels for an extra $1,350.
