Updated Motor Trend OnDemand Adds Apple TV, Roku Compatibility

Motor Trend OnDemand is evolving. Today we’re launching an updated version of our streaming automotive video service, which will include a revised mobile app, more than 1,500 hours of live and original content, and compatibility with Apple TV and Roku, which will make it easier for you to watch streaming car videos from your couch.

So what all is new with Motor Trend OnDemand 2.0? For starters, the content hub and mobile app (available for both Apple iOS and Android) have been redesigned. The revised apps place the entire catalog of programming at subscribers’ fingertips. That catalog now includes more than 20 years of Formula 1 races, as well as archived IndyCar broadcasts. You can even keep up with the current IndyCar season, as new races are available 48 hours after they’re shown live. The two top-tier open-wheel championships join the many other racing series already available on Motor Trend OnDemand, including Pirelli World Challenge, DTM, Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, European Le Mans Series, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. In addition to all that racing, Motor Trend OnDemand offers exclusive coverage of popular enthusiast events such as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Motor Trend OnDemand now supports live streaming across all platforms. That means subscribers can watch live programming, whether it’s a race or another special live event, wherever they go. The mobile app also gets updated original content, including exclusive bonus episodes and behind-the-scenes footage from our original shows that you won’t find anywhere else. In addition, two new series, “Roadkill Garage” and “Head2Head Drag Race,” will be available only on Motor Trend OnDemand.

The big news for those who prefer to watch streaming automotive videos from their living room is the addition of Apple TV and Roku compatibility. Starting today, you can download the Motor Trend OnDemand app for those devices and stream all day long from the comfort of your couch. But first, you need a subscription. The service is offered at an introductory price of $4.99 per month or $49.00 a year.
