Pricing for the new Genesis brand’s flagship luxury sedan has been revealed. The 2017 Genesis G90 sedan starts at $69,050 (including $950 destination).
The $69,050 price applies to the rear-drive 2017 Genesis G90 3.3T Premium. Power comes from an all-new twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-8 backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive G90 3.3T Premium is priced at $71,550 or $2,500 more than the rear-drive model. The boosted engine is rated 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. EPA-rated fuel economy is 17/24/20 mpg city/highway/combined.
Standard features include 19-inch alloy-wheels, HID headlights, leather interior, 22-way power driver’s seat, 16-way power front passenger seat, heated and ventilate front seats, heated rear seats, 12.3-inch navigation/infotainment screen, Lexicon 7.1 surround-sound audio system with 17 speakers, and more.
All G90 models come standard with a host of advanced safety features including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection, Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Smart Blind Spot Detection (SBSD) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) and High Beam Assist, Pre-safety seat belt and nine airbags, Smart Cruise Control with Stop/Start, Electronic Parking Brake with Automatic Vehicle Hold, Multi-view and forward-view cornering camera, and Front and rear parking sensors.
For those who want more power than the turbocharged V-6 provides, the automaker offers the G90 5.0 Ultimate with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 making 420 hp and 383 lb-ft. The rear-drive 2017 Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate is priced at $70,650, while the all-wheel-drive version is priced at $73,150 or $2,500 more.
In addition to the more powerful engine, the 5.0 Ultimate adds full LED headlights, ventilated rear seats, 14-way power right rear seat and 12-way power left rear seat, power rear seat headrests with manual tilt, memory rear seats, and illuminated rear seat vanity mirrors.
The 2017 Genesis G90 is set to hit dealer lots toward the end of this month.
