cars news 10: Audi Pokes Fun at Presidential Debates in New Ad

Whether last night’s presidential debate made you angry, depressed, bored, or all of the above, Audi knows just the way to provide some comic relief. The automaker put out a new commercial that is a not-so-subtle play on the battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for the White House.

In the new commercial, two valets who sort of (not really) look like the two candidates claw-fight each other over an Audi RS 7. A number of elements, from the briefcase of classified documents to the “Presidential Tower,” reference aspects of the current two candidates. Audi says the video features 18 Easter eggs, so you may need to watch it more than once to pick up on all the little hints. Spoiler alert: Some of the most amusing Easter eggs can be found at 0:23 and 0:53.

“The race to be the next Commander-In-Chief has never been fiercer, with the debates heating up to become the duel of the century,” Audi says in its description of the commercial on its YouTube channel. “Audi is bringing you our own version of political satire, with two valets duking it out in an epic, knock-down-drag-out fight to the finish for the highest prize of them all.”
