It’s been more than five years since we got our first look at the Lamborghini Urus concept. But next month, Lamborghini plans to officially reveal its new SUV. As big fans of the original Lamborghini SUV, the LM002, we’re excited to see what the Italian supercar manufacturer has done with the Urus. While we wait, though, Lamborghini’s releasing a string of video teasers.
In the one below, Lamborghini highlights the Urus’ “Terra” driving mode, a word that literally translates to “land” but appears to be more of an off-road configuration. It’s a short teaser, so there isn’t a lot of information to gather, but based on how many shots show the Urus hanging its tail out, it’s safe to assume its all-wheel-drive system will be rear-biased like Lamborghini’s road cars.
But as you can see in the photo above, the video also shows off the Urus’ instrument cluster for the first time. It looks to be all digital, emphasizing the tachometer which gear you’re in, with the speed less prominently displayed. As you see in quite a few other off-road vehicles, the Urus also shows you both pitch and roll. With six different drive modes, though, expect the gauge cluster to change based on which mode you have the car in.
A previous Urus teaser showed off its performance in the sand but also hinted at a possible rear-wheel-steer feature. Lamborghini only recently began offering rear-wheel steering, starting with the Centenario.
Over the next few weeks, expect Lamborghini to release more teasers before finally revealing the Urus on December 4.
