The 2018 Hyundai Accent has been priced starting at $15,880 including destination for the base SE trim with the standard six-speed manual transmission. That gets you a 5.0-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, cloth upholstery, cruise control, power windows, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a USB port, a four-speaker audio system, and 15-inch steel wheels with cover. Opting for the six-speed automatic transmission adds $1,000 to the 2018 Accent’s price, raising the car’s base price up to $16,880. The 2018 Accent is one of the lowest-priced vehicles available (the Nissan Versa starts at a lower price point) and it still packs the same bang for the buck that Hyundai is known for.
Moving up to the SEL trim that’s priced from $18,180 adds a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen, 15-inch alloy wheels, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, a six-speaker audio system, four-wheel disc brakes, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, a second USB port, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a driver’s side blind spot mirror, and a sliding armrest. The range-topping Limited trim, which starts at $19,780, builds on the SEL trim with a sunroof, projector LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, foglights, heated front seats, the hands-free Smart Trunk, a 3.5-inch multi-information display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a chrome grille, keyless entry/start, automatic climate control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
A 1.6-liter I-4 rated at 130 hp and 119 lb-ft of torque is the only engine available in the 2018 Accent and it can be paired to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The manual, however, is only available on the base SE trim. EPA fuel economy estimates are 28/37 mpg city/highway with the manual and 28/38 mpg with the automatic. Range-topping Limited models come standard with three years of Blue Link telematics services, which includes the ability to remote start your car via the Blue Link app for mobile phones or smart devices like Google Home or Amazon Alexa, check your car’s status, and stolen vehicle recovery.
