Here’s something extravagant to add to your holiday wish list: A $24,000 Bluetooth sound blaster by Lamborghini that can play music from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
The famed Italian car company partnered with iXoost to create the EsaVox, the ultimate music player for design-conscious connoisseurs with a lot of money.
For about the base price of a Miata, you too can be the proud owner of the world’s only portable sound system styled like a Lambo — a spectacular addition to the office, garage or man cave. It’s the sort of object that will leave your friends amazed, envious, and possibly flabbergasted — or all of the above.
It features a Lamborghini push-button start with red cover and is made out of lightweight carbon fiber. The ceramic speakers come with tiny shock absorbers to prevent rattling. And the principal decorative flourishes are pieces of exhaust pipes from an Aventador.
“The design is based on single block cabinets in carbon and wood, recalling the most iconic features of Lamborghini cars,” says iXoost.
“The central element is the original exhaust, which puts all elements into proportion, giving the impression of a real car.”
Though, unfortunately, it doesn’t have wheels and you can’t drive it. Instead, you get two hexagonal side cabinets with a 6.5-inch full range and 8.0-inch woofer in carbon to fill your dude den with an unforgettable stereo experience.
“The heart of the unit lies in a down firing subwoofer of 15 inches with high sensitivity, in Neodymium. Two 1-inch tweeters in Mylar complete the system, located inside the original exhaust unit,” the company reports.
It weighs a hefty 116 pounds, measures 49 x 19.6 x 25.5 inches, and cranks out 600 watts from the amplifier and 200 watts from the subwoofer.
The “Lambox” is available in Aldebaran Black, Atlas Orange, Evos Yellow, and Mars Red. They retail at $24,000 a pop. You can splurge and get the whole collection — or just save your pennies toward an actual Lamborghini.
