Video! 2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV Revs its 740-hp V-12

-I spent a lot of time in Geneva hanging out with Lamborghini executives and key personnel, learning as much as I could about the Aventador Superveloce that debuted at the show. In case you missed it, here’s the executive summary: the SV has a giant wing, is filled to the brim with more of everything, and it needed a new exhaust system because the old one was shooting 25-inch fireballs. Cool, but a bit of a fire hazard.

You can hear the new, fire-marshall-approved quad-tip exhaust roaring away in this video shot at the AutoClassica show in Milan. Remember, there’s 740-hp worth of insanity in between the imposing spoiler and magnificent rear diffuser.
