A Sacked Jeremy Clarkson Tell Fans: “Leave Oisin alone”

Jeremy Clarkson speaks: "Leave Oisin alone"

-Just one day after he was officially fired by the BBC, Jeremy Clarkson had one thing to say to reporters:

-

“I wish people would leave Ois alone, because none of this is his fault.”

-

“Ois” refers to Oisin Tymon, the Top Gear producer at the center of Clarkson’s firing. In an internal investigation, the BBC found that Clarkson unleashed a verbal tirade on Tymon before physically assaulting him. Reportedly, this manbaby outburst was over the fact that, at the end of a day of filming, Clarkson couldn’t get a hot meal, and would have to eat a cold dish.

-

After the fact, it was Clarkson who reported himself to the BBC regarding the outburst. Tymon went to the emergency room with a busted lip, but it was Clarkson himself who set the wheels turning that led to his ultimate firing.

-

That’s not relevant to morons on the internet, though. Tymon—whose only crime was being punched by Jeremy Clarkson—has been on the receiving end of the kind of stupid victim-blaming that only Twitter can deliver.

The river of stupidity runs much, much deeper than that, if you’re looking to lose your faith in humanity.

So when Clarkson was approached by reporters on a bike ride today, he did the right thing: He told fans, and the press, to leave Tymon alone.

-

We just wish he’d followed his own advice a few weeks ago.
