The Infiniti QX30 concept is a look into the not-so-distant future as the luxury automaker is committed to bringing a new compact SUV to production. We first caught a glimpse of the QX30 in February, but now get an exhaustive look at the sleek concept that hopefully doesn't lose too much of its curvaceous design on its way to production. Infiniti's current SUV range includes the QX50, QX60, QX70 and QX80.

Designed to mimic the sleek lines of a coupe while offering the ride height of a crossover SUV, Infiniti hopes the all-wheel-drive QX30 "urban explorer" concept will attract a new generation of car buyers. Generations X and Y, according to Infiniti, are more concerned about a premium car's distinctive design and execution rather than size or power. The QX30 does have a powerful design on the outside with 21-inch wheels and satin accents as well as a surprisingly realistic interior with nice touches of leather and blue accent stitching.
Though there are no specifics on power plants at the moment, a production SUV inspired by this concept will hit the road next year. Check out the gallery below; manufacturer images.
