We can’t verify that claim for ourselves, and nor can we vouch for the dealership’s assertion that it was “Canadian built” (all 2005-2006 Ford GTs were produced in Michigan), but after perusing nearly 60 pictures of the car, we can say that it looks as if it came off the line, like, yesterday. It also appears that BJ Motors has lots of other cool steeds in its stable, which appear—not accidentally, we’re sure—in the background of the GT’s pictorial.
Offered at a relatively steep “Buy It Now” price of $529,995, the GT is rendered in the classic Heritage Blue/Epic Orange Gulf livery, famously worn by the original Ford GT40 racecars in the 1960s, with a black leather interior. No word on whether it has had its Takata airbag replaced yet per the recall notice that just went out last month.

Likely is that won’t matter a whole lot, since we can’t imagine that the car will be driven very far by the new owner. After all, the extremely low mileage is what pushes the price of this GT to more than half a mil, for a car that commonly trades in the $200K–$300K range. And in a way, that’s too bad, since we love to see cars like this in their most exciting state: in motion. Preferably fast.
