For automakers, there's always money to be found in higher-margin luxury trim levels. That’s why we've seen mainstream companies such as Ford (Titanium), Honda (Touring Elite), and Chevrolet (High Country) branch out with new luxury-oriented trim levels. The latter's luxury trim has proven to be the most interesting, as it sandwiches Chevrolet in an odd position. The Silverado High Country has the awkward job of serving as a more luxurious Silverado LTZ while not stepping on the toes of the already more luxurious GMC Sierra Denali.
