Vehicles Affected: Approximately 9,000 model-year 2015 two-wheel-drive Acura TLX sedans equipped with the V-6 and manufactured July 14 through Nov. 12, 2014; all-wheel-drive vehicles manufactured between Aug. 26 and Nov. 10, 2014, are also affected.
The Problem: Problems with the automatic transmission shifter or park rod could prevent the transmission from shifting into Park. This could cause the vehicle to roll away, increasing the risk of accident or injury.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the transmission for free.
What Owners Should Do: Honda will notify owners beginning Jan. 6. Owners can call Honda at 310-783-2000 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 888-327-4236 for more information.
