Ken Block’s Gymkhana stunt driving series has elevated the automotive viral video to new heights, but a new clip featuring an older Subaru playing on a construction site proves that it doesn’t take a huge budget to produce a quality video.
Tyler Witte takes his old-school Subaru Impreza coupe, a first-gen 2.5 RS model that’s been modified, to a construction site to have some fun. First, he backs up a steep ramp to gain momentum as he begins the course, which involves a dirt ramp that jumps out of a shipping container, dirt jumps, and many different types of terrain. Witte drifts the car through and around various obstacles throughout the video.
The shadow of one brave camera person can be seen in one scene as Witte drifts around a large spool. Check out the video below to see the grand finale, which involves some heavy equipment.
