During the 2016 Geneva auto show, Pagani showed off a lighter, more powerful version of its Huayra supercar. In a new video, the Pagani Huayra BC stretches its legs at the Pagani factory in Italy, where it spits blue flames on upshifts.
The Pagani Huayra BC, named after Horacio Pagani’s first customer and close friend, Benny Caiola, gets its power from a Mercedes-AMG-sourced twin-turbo V-12 specially developed for Pagani to deliver over 740 hp. Thanks to a new sport exhaust with a low-back-pressure muffler, the Pagani Huayra BC also delivers a vicious new sound, which you’ll hear below.
The Huayra BC hits the streets just outside the factory, and while the driver can’t really let loose right away, we see how the Huayra handles at slow speeds before the video shifts to night and lets loose. The engine growl is deeper than the standard Huayra, and each time the vehicle upshifts, blue flames spit out of the quad exhaust pipes.
Check out the video below to hear the Pagani Huayra BC’s unique new engine growl and see the exotic coupe spit flames as it powers down the street at night.
