If, through your tears, you think you glimpsed the new Maxima in Nissan's heartwarming Super Bowl ad, you're right. The 2016 Maxima made a cameo in the automaker's "With Dad" commercial, and Nissan announced today that the sedan will make its formal debut at the 2015 New York International Auto Show in April.

Nissan says its flagship "four-door sports car" is all-new for 2016 and from the outside, the changes appear dramatic, with a deep V-styled front grille, lightning boltlike headlights and a huge panoramic sunroof.
