Arriving in dealerships this August, the refreshed 2018 Infiniti Q50 will start at $35,105, just $250 more than the price last year. For the new model year, the sedan gets a more refined exterior and interior as well as a whole new trim level structure.
At $35,105, the Q50 is sandwiched between the base BMW 3 Series, priced at $34,445, and the much more expensive Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan, which starts at $40,495.
The Q50 comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine making 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Standard features on the base model, denoted as “Pure,” include eight-way power front seats, dual-zone auto climate control, Infiniti InTouch infotainment, and 17-inch Lunar Black aluminum-alloy wheels.
Luxe models kick things up a notch with standard 18-inch sport wheels, power moonroof, chrome bumper finishers, Maple wood interior trim, and 225/50R18 all-season run-flat tires. These models start at $37,455. For Luxe models with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 making 300 hp, buyers will have to pay at least $39,855.
Sport models, priced from $41,555, come standard with the 300-hp engine. They also feature a sports front fascia, sporty leather-appointed seats, 19-inch wheels, and performance tires for all-wheel drive models. Red Sport models pack a V-6 engine with 400 hp as well as Quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats, aluminum accented pedals, custom exhaust tips, sport brakes with red calipers, and other goodies. Prices begin at $51,905 for these models.
Nissan will continue to offer a hybrid Q50 utilizing a hybrid powertrain netting 360 hp. Available only in the Luxe trim, this model starts from $51,505.
For buyers who don’t want rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive is available for an extra $2,000 on any trim.
