2019 Nissan Altima Priced from $24,645

Fresh off a redesign, the 2019 Nissan Altima comes with a host of updates to help it better compete with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. But those new features come with a higher price tag. The base model starts at $24,645, up $490 from last year.

That starting price is about on par with its two fiercest rivals. Standard features on the Altima include an 8.0-inch central infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four USB charge ports, an eight-way power driver seat, a 7.0-inch driver assist display, and remote engine start. These models also come with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 188 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. Adding all-wheel drive to this engine is an extra $1,350 with any trim.

SR models, which feature sporty tuning for the suspension and chassis, begin at $25,995. That’s up $780 from last year. When upgrading to the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine, which delivers 248 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, prices jump to $30,045. This engine is paired exclusively to front-wheel drive.

On the SV, buyers receive LED foglights, a moonroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving technology, and other updates. This trim sits in the middle of the Altima lineup with a starting price of $28,825. Next up is the SL, complete with a Bose premium sound system, leather-appointed seats, and a four-way power passenger seat. Prices start at $30,735.

Opt for the Platinum if you want even more amenities. Accent lighting, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and an around-view monitor are some of the goodies available on the $32,675 model. With the turbo engine, the bottom line reaches $35,675.

Nissan is offering one final trim level, but only in limited quantities. Building off the Platinum trim with the VC-Turbo engine, the Altima Edition One receives extra amenities, including a rear lip spoiler, illuminated kick plates and external ground lighting, and a concierge service. Only 3,900 copies will be made.
