-In the latest episode of GM’s monochrome mini-series, Chevrolet returns to find its heavy-duty pickups escaping to a white party while the duallys go all chrome and black leather. That’s right, it’s funky time at the construction site.

The Custom Sport monochrome trim package has made it to the Silverado 2500 and 3500 trucks, similar to what Chevrolet and GMC offer with the Silverado 1500 Custom Sport and the Sierra 1500 Elevation. The Custom Sport HD, available on LT and LTZ trim levels in either Summit White or black exterior paint, brings body-color bumpers; a body-color grille; and chrome door handles, side molding, and mirror caps. Silverado 2500 models get chromed 20-inch wheels, while 3500 models get 18-inchers, and the 3500 dually has 17s. The package is available now for between $700 to $1695.

It’s a fitting offer for these three-quarter and one-ton trucks, given how many of them lead a life of leisure rather than work, where looking good is a key attribute. We’d rather spring for the High Country trim with its glitzier interior for these heavy haulers. But if monochrome is your look, then the Custom Sport is the way to go.
