2019 Jaguar F-Pace SUV Gets Updates, Starts at $45,595

If you can’t tell the difference between the current Jaguar F-Pace and the version shown here, we don’t blame you. Despite Jaguar’s claim that the exterior has received several “enhancements” for 2019, the new F-Pace doesn’t look like it’s changed much at all. Then again, the F-Pace was already one of the best-looking crossovers on the market, so it’s not like it needed a major makeover.

The list of standard features has grown, though. A 10-inch touchscreen, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and front and rear parking sensors are now standard. Plus, like all 2019 model-year vehicles sold in the U.S., a backup camera is now standard. Jaguar also added optional slimline seats and three new packages. The Park Pack bundles automatic parking assist with upgraded parking sensors and rear cross-traffic alert, while the Drive Pack adds adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and upgraded automatic emergency braking. Finally, the Driver Assist Pack includes all the features of the first two packages, as well as a surround-view camera system and lane centering.

Additional changes can be found under the hood where all gasoline engines now come with an emissions-reducing particulate filter. And while Jaguar’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinders will likely be the most popular engine options, we’re happy to report that the 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 found in the 380-hp F-Pace S lives on for at least another year. U.S. diesel fans will also appreciate the continued inclusion of the 2.0-liter turbodiesel good for 180 hp and 318 lb-ft of torque.

For buyers who want even more power, Jaguar added the F-Pace SVR. Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8, the SVR makes 550 hp and 502 lb-ft. With the help of torque-vectoring all-wheel drive and a performance-tuned eight-speed automatic, the F-Pace SVR runs from 0-60 mph in a claimed 4.1 seconds. That’s not nearly as quick as the 505-hp Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but it’s still pretty darn quick.

Pricing starts at $45,595 including destination for the base F-Pace 25t with the 247-hp turbo-four, while the diesel 25d will run you $49,495. Meanwhile, $50,995 gets you into the 296-hp 30t, and the 380-hp S costs $62,495. The top-of-the-line SVR, however, costs $80,985.
